Bethany, a village outside Jerusalem, was where Jesus could enjoy
the hospitality of his friends, Mary, Martha, and Lazarus. Jesus was
the light they needed for life, and Jesus’ friends eagerly listened to
His teaching when he would visit.
Bethany Lutheran Church is a place where Jesus’ friends and family
continue to find light and life through studying the Good News. “God
loved the world this way: He gave his only Son so that everyone who
believes in him will not die but will have eternal life.” (John 3:16)

 | Adult Bible Class Sunday morning at 9:30. Currently there are three educational | |
| opportunities for adults on Sunday morning: Study of Law and Gospel, Study on Peacemaking, and Study of Lutheran Beliefs. (September through May) | ||
| Sunday School for children and youth at 9:30. Through JesusQuest, young | |
| children learn about God’s love through drama/story telling, worship, crafts, and special activities. Youth have special classes including a breakfast Bible study. (September through May) | ||
| Men’s prayer breakfast, the first Saturday of the month at 8:00 am, is an | |
| opportunity for fellowship, Bible study, and breakfast. | ||
| Women’s Bible study, the first Saturday of the month at 9:00 am, is an | |
| opportunity for fellowship, Bible study, and food. | ||
| Small Groups provide an opportunity for fellowship and Bible study. | |
| Vacation Bible School is an opportunity for children to have fun learning about | |
| God’s love for them. The program runs in the evenings for one week during the summer for children of all ages (including adults). | ||
| Children’s Church during the summer (June through August) provides special | |
| learning opportunities during the 12:00 worship service for children 4 – 4th grade. |
